Privacy Notice – Recording Telephone Calls

The surgery records telephone calls to protect patients and staff and other health workers. Patients are protected by our having a record of our conversations with you, staff and other health workers are protected from potential abuse. The surgery records all calls and patients are advised on this when they call our main number.

The recordings are stored on the surgery telephone system and are protected through the companies GDPR Policy. These recordings will not be shared outside the practice.

As the surgery records all calls, it is your right to request that your call is not recorded. If you do not wish for the call to be recorded then please tell the member of staff at the time of your call and the recording will be disabled.

UPDATES

MEASLES. 

Measles is extremely infectious and can be serious. If you have symptoms of measles, please stay at home and phone your GP or NHS 111 for advice. STAY AWAY from GP surgeries and A&E departments – you could spread the illness to others.

PRACTICE GUIDANCE: COVID-19

Mask wearing guidance has changed for healthcare settings.  Staff will be required to wear face masks in clinical areas.

Patients are advised to wear a face mask when attending the Practice.
